Angie Brinegar, MSN, ANP-C, OCN Angie Brinegar, MSN, ANP-C, OCN Angie Brinegar, MSN, ANP-C, OCN joined Coastal Cancer Center in 2000. She has worked in all facets of patient care at the center, including infusion nurse, clinic nurse and clinical educator. She graduated from Jackson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Miami, FL with an ADN. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from East Carolina University. Most recently, she graduated from Duke University with her Masters in Science of Nursing. She was the recipient in 2006 and 2007 of the MSN Masters of Nursing Scholarship awarded by the American Cancer Society. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and has been an Oncology Certified Nurse since 2001. Angie has lived in Myrtle Beach for eight years and has worked at Coastal Cancer Center since arriving here. She is a founding member of the Coastal South Carolina Oncology Nurses Society and a member of the Oncology Nursing Society. She has spoken often in our community and has served on numerous nursing advisory boards across the country. You may have even heard her voice on the radio from time to time. Her special interests include side effect management and survivorship issues. Her passion is helping people "live with cancer." She feels honored to have served Coastal Cancer Center's Patients and looks forward to the opportunity of making a difference in the lives of patients and their family members who are diagnosed with cancer. Angie has been married for 29 years, has two grown children and loves to travel. |
