Prescription Refills

Please check all of your prescriptions before your visit. Make sure you have enough medication to last until your next office visit. You can have prescriptions written for refills during your visit by telling your nurse. Please bring your pharmacy telephone number with you if you want the prescription called in for you.

If you run low on medicine between appointments and need a new prescription, please call us during regular business hours. When you call, give us the name of the medicine, dosage and directions for use, as well as the name and telephone number of the pharmacy. Please try to obtain refills before weekends and holidays.

By law, you must have a written prescription for narcotics such as Percocet, MS Contin or Oxycontin. This means no prescriptions for narcotic pain medication can be given after office hours. Try to anticipate your prescription refills before seeing your physician. Obtain enough refills to last until your next appointment. No exceptions are possible because of Federal regulations.
