Dr. Emily Z. Touloukian, DO elected to the Board of Directors of Community Oncology Alliance (COA)
Carolina Cancer Foundation is inviting the community to learn more about the local non-profit organization on its new website, CarolinaCancerFoundation.org.
The website’s design makes it easier than ever for visitors to learn more about Carolina Cancer Foundation’s role in helping to support underinsured and uninsured cancer patients in Horry and Georgetown Counties, in addition to its education and awareness initiatives. The new online platform now gives visitors on-demand access to Carolina Cancer Foundation news, events, pictures and information with the click of a mouse.
“Carolina Cancer Foundation is a non- profit organization that supports all cancers,” said Deanna Cochran, foundation coordinator. “With this new website, we hope to provide more cancer awareness and offer a way for people to give back to support this very worthwhile cause.”
With the launching of the website, Carolina Cancer Foundation plans to add an online donation portal later this month, where community members can make monetary donations to the organization by check or credit card. All donations, according to Carolina Cancer Foundation officials, will stay local in Horry and Georgetown Counties to support patients, awareness initiatives and its annual Cancer Survivor’s Day that is co-sponsored by Coastal Cancer Center.
Officials also invite the community to ‘LIKE’ Carolina Cancer Foundation on Facebook by clicking here.
