CCC Proud to Announce Arrival of Dr. Farhana Malik

Coastal Cancer Center officials announce today the addition of Dr. Farhana Malik to its growing medical oncology and hematology team. She will provide medical care to patients in the Conway and Murrells Inlet offices.

Dr. Malik received her undergraduate degree from Chittagong College in Chittagong, Bangladesh. She received her medical degree from Chittagong Medical College also in Chittagong, Bangladesh where she also completed her internship in Medicine and Obstetrics & Gynecology. Dr. Malik completed her residency in internal medicine at the University at Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. She did one additional year of research on immunology at the Roswell Park Cancer institute after finishing her residency. Her fellowship in Hematology-Oncology was completed at the University of Minnesota.

Currently, Dr. Malik is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.

Dr. Malik joins medical oncologists Dr. Lawrence Holt, Dr. Renwick Goldberg, Dr. Vijay Paudel, Dr. Rebecca Cody and Dr. Emily Touloukian. Coastal Cancer Center’s physicians and staff are trained in oncology and hematology, providing chemotherapy administration, laboratory support, PET, CT, X-ray services and the most up-to-date medical advances for patients undergoing cancer treatment.
