Coastal Cancer Center’s Dr. Vijay Paudel will join the Prostate Cancer Support group on Wednesday, October 9 to discuss the reoccurrence of prostate cancer and available treatment options for men.
The HealthFinders event sponsored by Grand Strand Regional Medical Center will be held from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at Coastal Grand Mall next to Dillard’s in Myrtle Beach.
Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among men in South Carolina, according to a new report from the South Carolina Central Cancer Registry. The state now ranks fourth in the nation for prostate cancer deaths. Approximately 3,299 new prostate cancer cases were diagnosed across the state in 2010, South Carolina Central Cancer Registry officials say.
