Dr. Emily Z. Touloukian, DO elected to the Board of Directors of Community Oncology Alliance (COA)
Women actively undergoing cancer treatment are invited to Coastal Cancer Center’s last “Look Good… Feel Better” session for 2013.
The event, co-hosted with the American Cancer Society, is scheduled for Monday, December 9 from 2-4 p.m. at Coastal Cancer Center’s Myrtle Beach office. The two hour session is free and will include a complimentary makeup kit for all participants.
“Look Good… Feel Better” teams up cosmetology professionals with women in cancer treatment to help patients better understand changes to their hair, nails, skin and physical appearance during chemotherapy or radiation.
Professionals will also guide participants in make-up application, turban styling and wig care during the December 9 session.
Registration for the event is required. Women in cancer treatment or within six months before or after having treatments can register by calling 1-800-227-2345.
Session dates for 2014 will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
