She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion at Coastal Carolina University. She then graduated with her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Horry Georgetown Technical College and went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Coastal Carolina University. After six years of working as a Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse, she received her Master of Nursing degree from the University of South Carolina. She is licensed by the state of SC as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and is board certified by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
Laura spends most of her time enjoying outdoor activities with her husband and two children, cooking and reading.
