    Prepare For First Appointment

    What To Bring
Please arrive at the time you are given. You do not need to arrive any earlier. If you need to reschedule your appointment or are going to be late, please notify us as soon as possible. We understand things happen. We are here for you.

    Bring with you:

    • Completed New Patient Forms. You are new to our practice and we understand that you may have completed similar forms elsewhere, however, it is vital that we have these to be able to provide you the care you deserve while adhering to legal guidelines.
    • Your Health Insurance and Prescription Cards.
    • Your government-issued photo ID.
    • Medications: Please bring a complete list, including strength and dosage, of medications. If you do not have a list, please bring the original containers. We need to know what medications you are taking, including over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
    • A family member or caregiver to enhance communication.
    • A list of any questions you have.
    Details

Your first visit will take longer than follow-up visits. During your first visit, you will see a physician who will perform a thorough examination. The remainder of your visit will be spent with the physician and the care team discussing your diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment options. You will likely have lab work done. An individualized care plan will be made for you and your follow-up appointments will be scheduled. If your plan includes chemotherapy, you will also be scheduled for a Plan of Care teaching appointment with one of our Advanced Practice Providers, our team of Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants.

    When You Depart

Contact our NURSE NAVIGATOR during normal hours at the location where you are normally seen by your physician if you are experiencing:

    What Our Patients Say

“I just want to say thank you for all of your kindness. You made a great first impression on my journey through this process.”

    – Shannon Booth, Myrtle Beach

"Our quality of life was improved and enhanced due to his caring manner and encouragement."

    – Richard G.

"A wonderful place. Very caring. If you have to go through cancer, these people are the ones to go through it with—very caring staff. Dr. Touloukian is a wonderful person. Highly recommend coastal cancer"

    – Paula M.

“Our family would like to express our sincere appreciation to you for the concern and care you showed for our mother during the past months as she battled [cancer]. We have watched the effects of aging [and] illness and realize, more than ever, that sometimes the kindness extended to the patient is the most important medicine of all. Thank you for giving that to her.”

    – E.S., Pawleys Island

"Excellent care has been given to me during this past year. The nurses are wonderful and very compassionate."

    – Martha R.

“After being on-site for a few days and observing how well you all did your jobs and how you interacted with the patients, I could sense the overall spirit of concern and encouragement that flowed from the staff. The people who come through your front door have been given devastating news. Without the hope and encouragement you provide, they would not have the courage or see the need to suffer through treatments. You are all a blessing to your patients and everyone who comes through your door.”
