We are pleased to welcome Samuel Andersen, M.D. to Coastal Cancer Center as our newest addition to the Radiation Oncology team. Dr. Andersen, who is board-eligible in radiation oncology, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Coastal Cancer Center Radiation Oncology.

After earning his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, Dr. Andersen honed his skills at the prestigious University of Texas Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he excelled as Chief Resident. His proficiency in a broad spectrum of cancers—including prostate, gynecological, and gastrointestinal cancers—is complemented by his mastery in advanced radiation techniques such as IMRT, SBRT, and stereotactic radiosurgery.

Dr. Andersen is dedicated to the holistic well-being of his patients, adopting a patient-centered approach that emphasizes clear communication and collaborative decision-making. Dr. Andersen is an advocate for patient education, firmly believing that empowering patients to be active participants in their treatment leads to more effective and satisfactory outcomes.
